Week 2: Bday Month Celebration with College Buddies at Femar Resort

April 13 2014

I invited my college buddies (arsynco) for an overnight swimming at Femar resort. Antipolo is the nearest place in Manila where you can enjoy swimming in the pool for affordable rates because there’s a lot of resorts to choose from. We actually picked 8 waves at first but we ended up at Femar because its more convenient.

Since its my Advanced 27th Bday Celebration, Ako ang Taya sa Food and Cottage! Good thing our cottage good for 6-10 pax only costs P800.

Attendees:

My Hubby, JP , Mac , Alex and Miguel, Kate and Sem, and June

Missing in action ang ibang Arsynco Tin, Athan, Val, Mabeth and Doray. May utang kayo sakin =)

Femar Garden Resort and Convention Center is located in TakTak Road Antipolo City.  They got 3 Pools , 1 pool on each floor. You can bring your  foods and magihaw , may corkage yung bottled drinks (P5 per bottle) but they did not charged us at all. There are also stores outside the resort.

The CR is not that good, walang lock yung shower rooms and mahina ang flow ng water.  But overall, Femar Resort is Recommended.

My Finished Product!

My Finished Product!

Ive been seing a lot of Instagram endorsement of celebrities holding a bottle or sometimes a mason jar with a pale juice in it.

“Thank you for this Detox Juice blah blah, now its time to get rid of toxins! “

Thats what they normally say LOL

Detoxification, the process, real or perceived, of removing toxins from the body. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detox)

I got curious of course and researched what it really does to our body. It seems that its a legit way to remove toxins from the body and weight loss too.

I checked how much is it to have a detox juice or water and Boom! 8 bottles costs P1500 and that will only be consumed for a days!

So here comes the  kuripot Annie and  searched how to make a detox water LOL

Source:
http://everydayroots.com/detox-drink-for-cleansing

Ingredients:

(Prices From SM SuperMarket)

Watermelon 1/4 – 30Php
Lemon 1pc – 22 Php
Cucumber 1/2 15Php
1 Liter of Water – Free of course
Mint Leaves (Not available)

Servings: 1 Glass per Meal Per Day
1 Liter Can give you 3-4 Glasses
Recommended Liter per Day is 1.5 L

Why Watermelon (or cucumber): Watermelon helps the body flush out toxins because it contains the organic compound citrulline, which is an amino acid that has been shown to help the liver and kidneys filter and get rid of ammonia.

Why water: H20 is just plain good for us, but it’s thought that it helps flush nasty toxins and waste through our system, giving organs like the liver and kidney an easier time doing their job.

Why lemon (or lime): Lemon or lime juice helps stimulate and regulate the digestive track (which is why it’s so helpful with constipation, heartburn and gas), stimulates bile production, and thins out bile, which allows it to flow more freely.

Why mint leaves: Mint leaves are a nice refreshing flavor to add to your drink. On top of that, it can help you digest more effectively, improving the flow of bile from the liver, to the gallbladder, to the small intestine, where it breaks down dietary fats. Mint also helps relax cramped up stomach muscles.

Total Amount Per Day: P67 (without the Mint Leaves)

Just drink detox water daily (1L -1.5L) and I guess its all good to remove toxins from the body.

Better than the P1500 worth of 8 bottles with cool bottle packaging right?

A compilation of what I want to accomplish before I die.

1. Get more Tattoos!

Got my first one way back 2012 , and I want more. I admire people with tattoos. For me its a great analogy of pakitang tao vs tunay na tao. Mas ok na yung may mga tattoo pero tumutulong sa pamilya, rather than a tatoo free skin pero wala namang kwenta.

2. Travel Travel Travel! Its More fun in the PH!

Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.

Im proud that I already visited almost all of Philippines tourist spot.

I already said Hello to Mayon Volcano and Cagsawa Ruin of Bicol. The White beach of Boracay. Chocolate Hills of Bohol. Cebu’s Magellan’s Cross. Philippine Eagle in Davao, Underground River of Puerto Princesa, Heritage village of Vigan Ilocos ,SummerCapital of the philippines, the famous Puerto Galera, Potipot and Anawangin of Zambales.

Please Check my Blog for the Photos: https://lovestoargue.wordpress.com/2013/09/08/its-more-fun-in-the-philippines/
