I so love the hotel where we stayed. It is soooo me! LOL I love animal
prints and safari stuff so this place was like my home HAHA!
The staff are very nice and accomodating too in Safari Lodge. The location is ok , very
accesible sa mga tourist spot. This is just located near Botanical Garden by
the way. I also want to commend this hotel for letting me store my
expressed breastmilk in their fridge for 3days and 2 nights. I have a lot of
pasalubong for my padede Boy!

Unfortunately, due to Bagyong Amang, cancelled ang mga water activities in El
nido on our 3rd day . The sky was clear and nakangiti si Haring araw but due to Bagyong amang,
malalakas daw talaga ang alon. Good thing about El nido Tours is they have alternative tours in case di pwede ang mga water activities.

Our tour in replacement to Tour A was a land tour to Nacpan Beach and Las Cabanas Beach Resort plus an experience to watch the sinulog (ati atihan street dancing) in El nido

Las Cabanas resort

Or last stop for the day! A resort ala Boracay! This is where we saw a lot of foreigners mostly Europeans and Koreans. The foods in the island are expensive . 8oz coke costs P25 and mango shake costs P150. The beach is ok but a bit crowded.

When we went home, we were surprised by A romantic candle light dinner and bed floral and towel arrangements by Ms Che and La Mina grandes Staff. Si James ang pasimuno since monthsary nila ni Tin. The food that they prepared was not that affordable since Chicken lang and corn nakain ko and its P250 per head (P1500 total for the 6 of us) pero ok na rin. KKB Pala Hahaha! By the way, there is only one store in El nido where you can buy souvenirs (like legit souvenir that has “el nido” on it) and that is on Art’s Cafe. And because sya lang ang gumagawa ng souvenirs, the items are expensive so we just decided to get some souvenirs in puerto princesa.

We will never ever forget our trip and adventures in El Nido palawan! Nothing beats Pinoy’s Hospitality plus the beauty and stunning tourists spots in El Nido! Im just so proud to be Pinoy!

Tour C on our 2nd day in El Nido!

Matinloc Island

This was our 3rd stop for the day! The word matinloc means “pretty” and I could
not argue with that. The island is beautiful. As per kuya Bangkero Arnel
Pineda (Hehe He looks like Arnel Pineda with a long blonde hair) , the
mansion in the island was abandoned already for unknown reason. He also
mentioned na naging hide out daw ito ng isang sikat na politician before (Clue: PL).

Cadlao Lagoon

The only lagoon that we visited during our El Nido Trip due to Bagyong Amang. Cadlao Lagoon was
so refreshing. The Lagoon water  is 30% Fresh water and 70% salt water so the
temperature is luke warm and suitable for our tired bodies. A relaxing way to end
our trip. The lagoon doesnt have a “piece of land” or sandbar where you can
take a picture so we didnt bother to bring our cameras and phones.

Entrance to Cadlao Lagoon, This is the view from our boat. Amazing Rock Formation!

Helicopter Island (Dilumacad Island)

Our first stop was the Helicopter Island. The name came from its shape which
looks like a Helicopter, but for me, it looks like a Dolphin. The beach is
beautiful and the water is clear. This beach is also a good spot for snorkling.

Secret Beach

Our next stop for tour C, The Secret Beach!

I should say that this was one of the coolest and buwis buhay experience that I
had in my entire life. The reason why it is called a “secret beach” is because
you have to swim and enter a hole underwater to get inside the secret beach .
The secret beach cannot be reached by boat so you really need to swim to see
its beauty and stunning rock formation. We’re lucky that the waves are not
that high when we went there. This secret beach is connected to Matinloc
Island. This is one of the best beach that weve been to!
You need a dry bag so you can bring your camera/smart phones with you
cause you will regret it if you will visit this place na walang picture picture!

If you want to see a Paradise within our Country, Go to El Nido Palawan. Ive
been hearing a lot of great feedback about El Nido Palawan and Im glad that
we were lucky to witness how beautiful that place is!

Matinloc Shrine, El Nido Palawan

Matinloc Shrine, El Nido Palawan

El Nido Means “the nest” in Spanish. The place is like A circular cove
surrounded with rocky cliffs. The cliffs and rock formation in El Nido is
perfect! The blue green sea is stunning! It is indeed one of Philippine’s pride!

El Nido was also the location of Survivor France and One of the Location of
Bourne Legacy (Movie) as per Kuyang Bangkero.

My hubby and I decided to have our honeymoon trip in El Nido Palawan.
Together with our Travel Buddies James, Tin, Tom and Amy, we explore the
pristine beauty of El Nido.

expensive. We got out ticket for P3500 each Roundtrip (Manila to Puerto

Important Things to Bring:

1) Dry Bag – 90% of El Nido’s Activities are Water Activities (Island Hopping) ,
so you really need this kung ayaw nyo umuwi ng sira ang mga SLR and
phones nyo!

2) Sunblock

3)Rash Guard – Highly Recommended, iwas maging super negra and negro,
trust me!

4) Underwater camera if available

5) Aqua Shoes – You will need it in Lagoons and in Secret Beach.

We arrived at Puerto Princesa Airport at 6AM and reached El Nido at 12
Noon. A 6 hour Van Ride with 2 Stop Overs for Lunch and Some Yosi Break. We also passed by a check point prohibiting us to go to el nido na may dalang Manga. The explanation is: Ayaw nila na may ibang lahi ng Mango in El Nido. They want to preserve kung anong mangga ang nag originate sa el nido.

The long travel time and bumpy roads are worth it because El Nido is really
beautiful.

We had our breakfast at Bacuit Grill Bar and Restaurant.

Breakfast at Bacuit Grill costs P80 per meal (rice and ulam)

Van Fare Costs P600 (included in our package) and you can also take the Roro
Ordinary Bus for only P480. Transportation in El Nido starts at 5am and ends
at 6pm (Van), and 5am-10PM for Roro Bus.

We had our lunch at Sizzling Republic , just right outside La Mina Grande. The food is a bit pricey and were kinda confused if good for how many talaga ang order ng food nila LOL. Ill rate their food 7/10 .

Our Lunch at Sizzling Republic

Our Lunch at Sizzling Republic

Our nest for our entire stay in El Nido is at La Mina Grande Resort, just few steps away from the terminal and
El Nido Market. The resort is clean and the view is great for Backpackers like
us. The staff are friendly and polite. If you’re not the “Backpacker” type of
traveler, you will not like the place since they don’t have a Television for your
idle time and water heater. The room doesnt have its own cabinet too but the
pocket wifi can let you stream for some videos and stuff for your idle time. They also have water dispenser so anytime pwede ka magcoffee =)

The Buffet breakfast starts at 7AM-9:30Am. The room costs P1500 per night for 2 pax (with breakfast)

Overall, Im giving this resort a 7/10 rating.

Prenup Shoot by Mad Glass Studio

For our Prenup Shoot, I really love how Kim Molo of Mad glass studio executed
his ideas. Napaka Spontaneous din nya sa mga shots. We had 4 sets of
wardrobe and lahat yun maganda ang naging outcome ng photos. We just had
some concerns mejo matagal yung processing ng photos, like it took 3 weeks
which is understandable since marami silang clients. Medyo kulang lang sa
pag update. Same with Save the Date video, it was great! We just expected na
after 3 weeks e kasama na sya ng mga prenuptial photos but we waited for
another week for the save the date video. In fairness with Sir Kim’s effort, he dropped off the CD of our prenup photo sa office pa namin.

I love the video sana but it took 1 MONTH for us to have it (downloaded it from VIMEO ONLINE pa, we didnt get it na nasa USB or CD man lang) . They didnt provide us a copy right after the wedding where in sa contract dapat maibigay sya. We paid for something na di namen na cherish kagad. I guess thats the purpose of having a same day edit video. To get the File on the SAME DATE.

Wedding Photos and Cinematic Videos:

OVERALL RATINGS: ZERO!

Why Zero? Cause ang sabi sa contract, we will get everything after 4 months. Come April 13 (Which is our 4th Month, Walang txt or call or update na madedelay. Kami pa ang nag follow up and unfortunately we got a response after couple of days pa na madedelay. And it will be delivered by APRIL. Come April 30, NO TXT CALLS or UPDATES AGAIN. Kami pa ulet ang nag follow up. No return calls or reply sa FB. But nakakapag reply sya sa mga NAG IINQUIRE Sa KANYA. We finally got a response after COUPLE OF DAYS AGAIN, and This May naman daw.

Quality over Quantity dapat. If di pala kayang magpost process, hinay hinay din sa pag accept ng booking. Na cocompromise tuloy yung quality e. This is a Lame excuse for me.

Thank You Again!

I just want to share our horrible experience with this Wedding gown and Entourage Gown supplier.

We want to get a wedding and entourage gown na maganda yet affordable. We were advised by our friends na marami sa divisoria na magaganda na pero mas mura compared sa mall prices. We decided na dun tumingin ng supplier. A friend referred us sa Fiesta Mall in Divisoria (Pink Building Across Mcdonalds). When we went there, ang unang nakita namen and napuntahan is yung “pamangkin” ng nirefer samin. She claimed na same lang din naman ang gagawa so pwede na rin kami sa kanya mag pa gawa.

She gave us a reasonable price of P13,000 para sa damit ng buong entourage (Wedding gown, Grooms Outfit, 5 Brides maids gown, 5 groomsmen vest and pants, 6 Kids outfit and 4 parents gown , vest and pants) Were all happy na mura namin makukuha ang set ng mga damit. Mahirap ang buhay so kung makakamura kami, why not? Napakagaling ni Ate Jelly sa sales talk and impressive naman ang mga gowns na nakita namen so we decided to close the deal.

After we paid the reservation fee, she set us up for our first fitting. Dito na nangyari ang lahat ng Bridezilla Moments ko and my family.Let me enumerate lahat ng kapalpakan nila..

1) First Fitting. She was 3 Hours Late. Puro Alibi, Nakakahiya sa entourage.

2) We had our first fitting last August of 2014 and come November, ang sabi nya e nawala na ang lahat ng sukat from our first fitting. Nanakaw daw ang Bag nya. Thats unaccepatble dahil August pa nag fit and dapat nagawa na ang mga damit by November. Pero nagpasensya kami and inadvised na lang ulet ang entourage na magpasukat. Super hassle..To think, November na! 1 more month and its our big day!

3) Di Nasunod ang Style ng Gown ng Mother and Bridal Gown.

Grabe ang Layo ng Design!

4) 4 Hours Late sa Second Fitting. Imagine , late na sya sa first fitting, late pa rin sa second fitting.

2nd Fitting. Late for 4 HRs.

2nd Fitting. Late for 4 HRs.

Lahat ng gowns walang lock (butones) and may sira yung zipper.

7) The neckties are horrible. As in isang tela lang na mahaba na nilagyan ng kapirasong karton sa loob. Even after nila i adjust, wala pa rin. Ni walang hook or lock para maisabit sa kwelyo. The Shawl which cost P200 each e parang mga mahabang retaso lang. Di pantay pantay ang sukat.

8) We had an agreement na papahiram nya samin yung manikin para sa gown for the pictorial. Usapan is wednesday after nya ibigay ang lahat ng damit but na adjust ng saturday. Pagdating ng Sabado, Walang paramdam. She even blocked me on Facebook . Grabe talaga!

Beware!

Beware!

She blocked me on FB after several messages ko sa kanya plus text messages regarding sa Manikin.

Hope this will help sa lahat ng naghahanap ng Murang Set of Gowns in Divisoria. It will really be better if tahi nyo na bibilin ang gowns or refer ng kaibigan talaga yung gagawa. Or better look for gagawa na kahit mejo mahal e di naman kayo mastress ng sobra.

My husband and I will have our church wedding on December 13, 2014 at Santuario Del Sto Cristo Parish. It is my dream to have a church wedding where I grew up and where I learned everything about catholic faith.

Let me share the process and the events that we attended as part of the requirements of getting married in catholic church.

– We attended the Pre Cana last Sunday, November 9 together with 14 more couples. It will tackle 6 Talks about Marriage, Wedding Process, and Family Life.

Here’s a simple review about Shaw Residenza Suites  where we held our first fitting for entourage. I highly recommend this place because of the price and accessibility (we are from San Juan ans Sta Mesa so this is considered accessible) .

Shaw Residenza Suites  is a Condo where 2 bedroom loft type units are available. This is located in Shaw Blvd Mandaluyong city.

This is where we set out Entourage First Fitting because it is the most accessible Unit in Mandaluyong.

For only P3,500 per night you’ll get to stay in a 2 bedroom loft type unit.

My Family =)

Shaw Residenza Suites  is just along Shaw Blvd. It is near a lot of establishments, fast food chains and even grocery stores. It is also a 5 minute drive from Edsa.

Lan Mark:  In between Red Ribbon and Goldilocks and near Puregold Liberty Center

4) Friendly Staff – 10 Stars
They are friendly and they always wear that “Thank you for choosing Shaw Residenza Suites ” Smile =)

5) Security – 8 Stars
Not sure if I will put it under Pros or Cons but with our stay, it is a pro since my guests arrived every 1 or 2 hours interval. The security is not that tight. Guests can go in and out without inspection.

6) Food/Resto – 0 Star
They got no food or restaurant so you really have to go out .

Our Merienda, Pansit from Aling Banang and Puto of Golidlocks! Sarap!

7) Amenities – 7 Stars
The Pool is not clean at all. There’s a lot of floating objects like leaves etc. You can also feel the slimy pool floor and edges. The WIFI signal is strong. The Elevators are kinda old and rusty.
