For those who are asking about the place where we held our Team Building activity last week, heto na po!

A Lush of Blue and Green!

VILLA FILOMENA NATURAL SPRING RESORT is a very relaxing place in Cavite. We decided to spend our weekend in this beautiful place because it is affordable and relaxing. 2-3 Hour Drive lang from Manila. We have a team mate who recommended this place. I wont be able to provide further details about public transportation since we just follow Mr Waze to reach our destination (private transpo). As per waze, you need to follow Cavitex-Kawit- Tejero-Gen Trias – Indang Route. For Public Transportation, kindly check this site for details:

Infinity Pool

I love the infinity pool, malalim nga lang so dun lang kami sa taas ng konti which is 4ft deep lang. The pool below is 6-7 feet deep. Please bring baby oil din if you will let your kids swim. Super lamig ng tubig! Videoke is wantusawa, walang sisista sayo kahit alas 3 ka pa ng madaling araw magwala. Di rin masyadong malamok so I must say, kiddie friendly ang place na to. The Comfort Room and Shower rooms are huge enough to accomodate guest na sabay sabay magbabanlaw. Di malansa ang tubig sa shower room and may mga tabo available just in case may “call of nature” na maganap 😀 There is also a resto sa resort in case you need to buy something in the middle of the night.

We slept in a Kubo Room which can fit 40 pax (as per their website) but the truth is, mga nasa 20-25 lang ang kasya. They provided the matres, pillow and kumot. I must say they must improve yung mga kubo nila. Medyo sira sira na kasi yung siwang and halatang marupok na ang kawayan.

Please check the rates below. They are responsive kahit thru FB ka magpapa reserve. No Corkage, you can bring your own food and cook. P15 per hour per head ang extension per hour.

Rating: 8 Stars over 10 ♥

We went to Sagada last week for a quick weekend getaway with my College Buddies. It was a long, tiring, 12- hour trip from Manila including Lunch and some wiwi breaks. If you’re the type of person whose impatient sa malayong byahe, Sagada Trip is not for you.

Sagada Trip via Banaue Route

Sagada is a town in the Cordillera Mountains, within the Philippines Mountain Province. Most of the activities require Trekking , and mahaba habang lakaran so if you’re not that type of person again who would go for a spot that will require you to walk and trek like a pro, Sagada is Again, not for you. There is no Pedicab or even Tricycle in Sagada so you really need to walk.

Sagada got more famous for its scenic view and romantic spots because of the hugot movie of 2015, That Thing Called Tadhana.

We avail the 3 days 2 nights package of Wonder Escapes Travel and Tours. We got the package for P2690 per head , for 13 pax.

For inquiries and complete details, contact details below folks!

Here are the Itinerary and Inclusions:

* Roundtrip van transfer (Megamall-BANAUE-SAGADA-BAGUIO-Megamall)
* 3days/2nights accommodations TINAGTAGO INN

* Sagada Tour

Kiltepan (depends on the Road and Weather Condition)
Hanging coffins
Echo Valley
St Mary’s Episcopal Church
Pongas Falls or Bomod-Ok Falls
Pottery House
Sagada Weaving
Sumaguing Cave and/or Lumiang cave
Orange Farm (SEASONAL)
Ganduyan Museum
Lake danum (depends on road and weather condition)

* Sightseeing tour in BANAUE RICE TERRACES (as seen in 1000 peso bill)
* Side trip at Strawberry farm (La Trinidad, Baguio)
* Side trip to Lions Head (Kenon Road)
* Side trip at Philippine Highway System (highest point)

* Toll Fee, Gas, Driver’s meal and fee
* Taxes and Surcharges
*If time still Permits: Side trip to Burnham Park

Kuya Bong, one of the owners was also our driver and tour guide. He’s really nice and accommodating. I will rate this travel agency 10/10!

There’s a lot of Souvenir shops in Sagada but its kinda pricey. A Sando for Toddler costs P150,  (it only costs P90 in Bora) and the strawberry jam costs P120 (P50 in Baguio)

Day 1 : The Banaue Rice Terraces

The Banaue Rice Terraces was breath taking. Another Check on my Bucket List!

Arsynco and Banaue Rice Terraces!

Meet the Parents LOL

The Sumaguing Cave

The Sumaguing Cave is beautiful but not for Pulikatin and Hikain like me. LOL
I got scared and tired so I wasn’t able to finish it. I backed out after I hit the first leg.
I learned from our Kuya Tour Guides that the “G” in Stalagmite means Ground , and C in Stalactite means ceiling. So you guys know what to call the icicle shaped formation on the ground or hanging on the ceiling.

Fresh Pa Kami Dito 😀

1st Leg!

Day 2 : Echo Valley and Hanging Coffin

You need to trek downhill for the spot where you can see the hanging coffins. We trek for 30 minutes. I’m amazed on how the Igorots were able to put the coffins hanging on the mountains. Hanging a Deceased love ones on the mountain means, you are putting their soul near the gods. You need to pass by the public cemetery before you can reach the hanging coffin spot. It is also called echo valley because you can shout and an echo will bounce back. Unlimited Yell or Hugot  if you want!

Sagada Pottery
Address: Sagada-Besao Rd, Sagada
Contact: Siegrid – 0919-671-9875
Tessie – 0999-422-200

Ms Siegrid Demonstrated how to make a pot. She explained the process on how to get and process the clay from the mountain. They’ve been doing it for 15 years now . As per Ms Siegrid, making a pot from a Mountain Clay requires 6 months of patience and Practice!

Ganduyan Museum

The son of the owner of this museum explained to us the Igorot tribes’s cultures and tradition. Do not touch and do not take pictures while you’re inside the museum.

St Mary’s Cathedral

A church that looks like one of those churches in Batanes. As per Kuya Bong, the priests serving in this church can still get the sacrament of matrimony.

Lake Danum

I’m kinda disappointed on how it looked like compare to the photos I’ve seen online. But as per Kuya Bong, it was really a great spot before. Not sure what happened. By the way, this is a best camping site as per Kuya Bong.

The famous spot in that thing called tadhana movie where Mace and Anthony had their breakfast.

Day 3 : Kiltepan Peak

Another famous spot for the movie where you can see , sea of clouds. Too bad the weather was not that good because of Bagyong Dindo. Puro Fog ang nakita namen.

We Arrived at around 5:30 AM

Good Tastes Baguio

We had Lunch at Good Taste Baguio on our way home, and the food is really  good and for an affordable price! We only Paid P106 per head , group of 8 for 4 Viands and Rice! Good deal right?

Where to Eat in Sagada

Dining Out in Sagada means you need to wait for a minimum of 30 mins to an hour for the food to be served. We had that experience with Salt and Pepper Diner, and Sagada Brew. Not sure how they manage restaurants there but I think they need to improve and increase their man power. The only place that made us all happy and full was the Sagada Lemon Pie House. The Lemon Pie is a must try when you are in Sagada!

We’ve been hearing a lot of positive feedback about Boracay Toilet so we decided not to leave the island without tasting food served in bath tubs, toilet bowls and urinals. This Resto was also featured in Rated K so we added it in our “To Do’s ” when we go to Bora.

I love the concept and How it was set up  (an idea inspired by popular toilet themed cafe in taiwan name Modern Toilet – Taipei Ximending ) . The Resto is located in Station 1, Main Road.

Main Road of Station 1

I love how they rename the dishes like Chicken Pork A Poo Poo (Chicken Pork Adobo) Man, its kinda disgusting but cool!

Hungry Baby!

Shitty Menu LOL

The staff are accommodating too and they are ready to be your instant photographer!

When it comes to the Foods/Dishes, Medyo Pricey and not worth it for the price. Not so happy with what we ate, hindi ako nabusog. They also have Business Hours like 11am-2pm Only then it will resume 5pm-7Pm na so twice kaming bumalik.

I will still rate it 7/10 Overall and a Must Visit Place in Boracay.

We went to Boracay last week for a quick Summer Escapade. We booked for a 2 days/2
nights accommodation in Sun Villa Resort and Spa Hilltop. The resort’s ambiance was very relaxing and the staff were very accommodating! If you really want to relax and unwind, this resort is the place to be.

The resort is 5 mins away from D-Mall and the Beach (Station 2), good thing, they have
a shuttle service for guests who wish to go there. Tricycle Fee is P60 One way if the
shuttle/driver is not available.

I love the “welcome” Necklace!

Welcome Drinks

We got the 2 days/2 nights accommodation for Php 5,600 only with breakfast for 2,
Semi Deluxe Room via Agoda. When we arrived, they upgraded our Room to Deluxe
without any charge at all. The room was spacious, with 3 Beds in total, Own fridge,
clean restroom and a properly working AirCon .

Awesome View ♥

Clean Spacious Room

Their breakfast (Filipino style) tasted really good. You should try their Beef Tapa and
Longanisa! A set of Filipino Breakfast costs P250.

The room was clean as well as the pillows and bed sheets. I love the Mosquito Nets.It
made us feel that “I want to stay in bed na lang forever” Hahaha

Dining Area

The way up to the resort was a little tiring, but you can always look on the brighter
side of the story. Nakakapayat ang pag akyat sa Resort na to. =)

Good Morning Bora!

I love how they value their customers. We left the resort at 4pm even if the check out
time was 11 AM. Yes, they let us stay (and sleep) in the lobby while we were waiting for
Southwest Tours to pick us up.

Overall, I will rate this resort 9/10. Highly Recommended!

Here’s the contact info for reservations/inquiries:

Haunted Mansion

Baguio is also known for entities , lost souls and ghost stories. So you should never miss visiting one of the haunted places in Baguio which is the White Laperal House or The Haunted Mansion. It looks like an old Victorian creepy house. This is located near Teachers Camp (one of the haunted spots in Baguio too), Leonard Wood Roads Baguio City.

It was really creepy inside the house, I don’t like the Aura.

By the way, there’s an entrance fee of P50.

As per blog, this house is owned by one of Baguio’s oldest clans, The Laperals, built in 1920s. This house was used by Japanese as garrison and torture area. The owner of the house, Don Roberto died after having slipped and hit his head in the front yard of the house.

We were not able to actually exsplore the whole place since kuya cab driver was waiting outside. He’s so kind that he let us check the temple for couple of minutes without asking for additional charge. We were on our way to strawberry Farm when we checked it out. Strawberry farm is like 10 minutes away from Bell Church so don’t miss checking this out when you visit Strawberry farm.

I should say that this is one of the best spots in Baguio.

Unfortunately, due to Bagyong Amang, cancelled ang mga water activities in El
nido on our 3rd day . The sky was clear and nakangiti si Haring araw but due to Bagyong amang,
malalakas daw talaga ang alon. Good thing about El nido Tours is they have alternative tours in case di pwede ang mga water activities.

Our tour in replacement to Tour A was a land tour to Nacpan Beach and Las Cabanas Beach Resort plus an experience to watch the sinulog (ati atihan street dancing) in El nido

By the way, there is only one store in El nido where you can buy souvenirs (like legit souvenir that has “el nido” on it) and that is on Art’s Cafe. And because sya lang ang gumagawa ng souvenirs, the items are expensive so we just decided to get some souvenirs in puerto princesa.

We will never ever forget our trip and adventures in El Nido palawan! Nothing beats Pinoy’s Hospitality plus the beauty and stunning tourists spots in El Nido! Im just so proud to be Pinoy!
